History
Aguascalientes harbors within its majestic corners an architectural gem dating back to the last century, with a history as vast as its design. We are, of course, talking about the Hotel Alameda Grand.
The Hotel Alameda Grand is one of the most important historical sites for tourism in Aguascalientes. It was built in 1899 in a refined French style, as part of the old Hacienda de Ojocaliente, a private residence of the Escobedo family. During the Mexican Revolution, it became a camp for the revolutionary Pancho Villa, although it was abandoned for several decades.
It wasn't until 1989 that the Torres Landa family took on the task of rescuing the building, which was inaugurated on April 13, 1991, under the name Alameda Grand Hotel.
In October 2009, it changed management and took on the name Hotel Alameda Grand, the only hotel to bear the Treasures of Mexico designation granted by the federal government. Today, it features 48 suites with views of the gardens or Alameda Avenue, all equipped with quality furniture, elegant decor, and lighting that creates a warm atmosphere for guests.
The Alameda begins at the Templo de la Purísima and ends at what was the Hotel Escobedo and the Baños de Ojocaliente, forming a legendary promenade for the people of Aguascalientes. Today, this promenade proudly houses the Alameda Grand Hotel, a shining jewel that was once the Hotel Escobedo, a point of pride for Aguascalientes, and now another legend of our beautiful city, rich in traditions that have been forged over time.
One of the aspects that most distinguishes our hotel is the exceptional quality of its cuisine. The Las Magnolias café offers a variety of delicious à la carte breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, while the Bar Barcelonett is another excellent option to enjoy a cocktail or a drink in a cozy and elegant atmosphere.
The hotel also stands out for its versatility in event spaces, with rooms of different capacities ranging from 30 to 1,500 people, adaptable to any occasion.
Visiting the Hotel Alameda Grand is an unforgettable experience. Its architecture, which evokes the splendor of the Porfirian era, transports you to a time of history and luxury. Additionally, you will enjoy a stay marked by the warm and professional service of our team, dedicated to offering excellence in accommodation, food, and events. Located in the heart of Aguascalientes, the hotel is synonymous with tradition and history, and its mission is to ensure the complete satisfaction of its guests while contributing to the continued development of the company.

Alameda Grand, where the Bullfighters dress
The Hotel Alameda Grand is much more than just a place to stay; it is an icon of Aguascalientes' bullfighting tradition. Every time the emblematic bullfights are held, the bullfighters choose this hotel to dress and prepare before heading to the arena.
With its atmosphere full of history and elegance, the hotel has witnessed countless memorable moments, where the passion for bullfighting blends with the hospitality of our exceptional service.
Being part of this unique tradition is an experience that only Alameda Grand can offer.
